MP3 Player for Kids
Since Max has a definite opinion about music, and since he can work the CD changer -- skip from song to song, pop it out, put it back in, turn the volume as high as it can go -- and he can work the volume on his iPod dock and on the Mac, we had to find a different delivery system. There had to be a way for him to listen to and control music without ruining CDs or electronics! Or having to wear earbuds. I just found the SweetPea3 by The Sweet Pea Toy Company, a Canadian company that just got going in March. So, I ordered one. This player is as near to perfect as you can get -- Max carries it around, skips from song to song, repeats a favorite song. He has total control, except over the volume which has a parental control. It comes pre-loaded with a few kids' songs, but it is as easy as dragging and dropping to add your own songs. Max's playlist has everything from Barney to Green Day. Max hasn't let it out of his sight since it arrived last Thursday.
